Megan Houghton, CEO

Megan brings to CitySmart extensive experience in the energy and water sector through her previous roles as Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers and head of strategy for Energex.  She was acknowledged by her peers as one of the most effective business leaders in Brisbane and was awarded 2010 Telstra Queensland Business Woman of the Year and was one of two special delegates representing Australia at the US Department of State’s 2010 summit on climate change and sustainability. Megan is also a non-executive board member of Unitywater.

Jenny Currie, Events Coordinator

Driving CitySmart’s calendar of sustainability events, Jenny throws her enthusiasm, professionalism and a never-give-up approach behind each and every event. Jenny previously worked for Logan City Council’s environment and sustainability division where she quickly learnt the multi-skilled approach and balancing act needed to run large scale community events.

Ian Eckersley, Strategic Partnerships Manager

Ian joined CitySmart after a highly successful 30-year career working in the media and corporate communications. Ian is responsible for delivering CitySmart's corporate partner program, which includes events, communications and activities while working strategically with partners. He is well-known in the business sector and his great people skills and innovative thinking helps him to manage, maintain and develop long-term relationships which adds value to partners and CitySmart and helps them to fufill their sustainability and business goals.

Lori Hogan, Events Manager

Directing the CitySmart events program, Lori brings together a wealth of knowledge and an organisational nous to ensure the successful delivery of the community events program for CitySmart with events ranging both large and small, all delivered on behalf of Brisbane City Council. Multi-skilled across cultural, corporate and large scale community events, Lori has a background in managing relationships for major corporate brands gained both internationally and with some of Brisbane’s most iconic organisations.

Terry Hamilton, Marketing Manager

Terry brings 17+ years experience in Marketing, Communications and Community Development roles in Australia and the UK.  With a strong focus on sustainability, she has managed several community engagement and social marketing behaviour change campaigns for leading companies and not-for-profits.  With broad ranging experience across urban development, ICT, health, and the community sector, she brings a collaborative approach, strong skills in adaptability, and great enthusiasm to the CitySmart team.

Emi Meiliana, CPA

Emi is a qualified accountant with over 10 years of corporate accountancy experience in the manufacturing and finance sector. Emi brings a wealth of expertise to CitySmart’s account department.

Natasha Storey, Project Support Officer

A background in customer service and support gives Natasha the skills to manage the day to day operations of CitySmart's flagship project, EzyGreen. No problem is too small for CitySmart's dedicated customer relationships expert, who brings a wealth of hands-on experience and a cheery attitude to the role.

Liam Stower, Senior Marketing Officer

With a background in consultancy and industry communications, Liam’s fresh ideas and whatever-it-takes approach ensures that CitySmart’s messaging is heard loud and clear.  With skills in social and online media, coupled with his creative copywriting skills, he injects variety and enthusiasm across all of CitySmart’s marketing activities.

Tim Swinton , Commercial Project Manager

As commercial project manager, Tim is responsible for delivering CitySmart’s agenda of sustainable projects. His experience in government and industry gives him more than the necessary experience to manage and deliver projects on all scales, including previous roles in The Biniris Group, QIC and The Standard Charter Bank London.

Craig Turner, Commercial Manager

Craig comes to CitySmart with a background in corporate finance and management accounting. Working in both the  public and private sector he has developed expertise in strategic business development and financial modelling. Craig’s recent experience consulting in the renewable and financial sectors ensure CitySmart’s commercial projects navigate the difficult equilibrium between economy benefit and environmental outcomes.

Tessa Williams, Executive Assistant to the CEO

Tessa brings to CitySmart  over eight years experience in administration across a range of industries including finance, engineering and not-for-profit organisations. Most recently working for the New Zealand Government, Tessa is skilled across all levels of corporate and managerial administration and is the grease behind the wheel that keeps CitySmart rolling.
