On Thursday 15 March 2012, CitySmart hosted its inaugural sustainability lunch, The Green Leaders Project. A lively discussion moderated by one of Australian television’s most respected journalists and popular personalities, George Negus, over 250 members of Brisbane's business community discussed key issues surrounding sustainability and how it can deliver commercial, as well as environmental benefits for business.

A fantastic panel of sustainability leaders spoke on how they and their organisations are greening the bottom line. Dr Geoff Garrett AO, Queensland Chief Scientist, Queensland Government; Fiona Nicholls, Vice President External Relations, Rio Tinto Energy; Ben Waters, Director ecomagination, GE Australia & New Zealand and Jim McKnoulty, Chairman CitySmart and RPS Australia East.
