EzyGreen - Energy Reduction Program
CitySmart launched the flagship $20+ million EzyGreen program mid last year and to date, we have over 50,000 greater Brisbane residents signed up to the energy saving program.
The program makes it easier for residents throughout greater Brisbane to save money, save energy and be more sustainable at home, while providing significant new business opportunities for corporate partners involved in this project.
EzyGreen takes smart ideas for saving on energy use around the home and puts them into one easy-to-use program. With just one click or phone call, you could save hundreds on your energy bills and do something good for the environment.
Options available through EzyGreen include:
- Retail sustainability vouchers for energy-efficient appliances and products from our sustainable retail partners including The Good Guys
- Queensland Government’s ClimateSmart Home Service that is available for only $50
- A high quality solar hot water system at a competitive price, supplied by Energy Assist
- A discounted solar power system supplied by Ingenero, with exclusive EzyGreen discounts starting from $300

Project Partners
Brisbane City Council provided base funding for EzyGreen. CitySmart then forged partnerships with business and the Queensland Government to leverage this funding and develop a commercially viable program with clear sustainable outcomes.
The program is promoted as an initiative of Council in partnership with the Queensland Government and local corporate partners including Ingenero, Energy Assist, Crest, Goldcross Cycles and The Good Guys. Media partners raise awareness of the program, including Channel 10, Nova 106.9FM, and Quest Community Newspapers.
It is envisaged that EzyGreen will expand to offer a greater range of products to greater Brisbane residents and we look forward to discussing these options with new potential corporate partners.
