On 13 November, CitySmart and Brisbane City Council played host to the much anticipated Recreate Twilight Market and Paper Fashion Show in King George Square.
Celebrating National Recycling Week, the paper-themed event attracted more than 12,000 visitors to showcase Brisbane’s recycling efforts and inspire all to reuse or recreate for a cleaner, greener city.
The runway took centre stage with the debut of paper couture from a collection of Brisbane’s best fashion designers while clever crafters sold sustainable handmade wares at the BrisStyle Market stalls.
Brisbane’s favourite food trucks also stepped it up sustainably to indulge visitors with tasty street eats with local musicians keeping the vibrant mood flowing throughout the night.
The Recreate Twilight Market and Paper Fashion Show was managed and run by CitySmart’s dynamic events team and is just one of many cultural and community events the team delivers throughout South East Queensland.
